The VP of Sales is responsible for leading and managing our top notch sales team. Our projects range from very small and straightforward projects that require a simplified sales model to full high speed line implementations that require a phased approach and months of engineering work. The VP of sales is responsible for helping our team craft an ideal customer experience for each project and driving sales success!

Responsibilities

  • Manage and Lead a diverse and high performing team of Direct and Indirect (Channel) Sales people and Sales Engineers.
  • Develop and implement a systematic training program to ensure a smooth, simplified and efficient sales process.
  • Coach sales people throughout the sales process to drive projects to close.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, employees, and senior management
  • Provide monthly/quarterly and annual sales forecast and regular pipeline updates to CCO and other E-team members as needed
  • Oversee sales engineering process and coordinate with SE manager to ensure each project is a technical success.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director to ensure marketing strategies and activities are aligned with Sales goals, and aligned with Market Opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities for additional equipment and services to be provided by Ska Fab
  • Work with Channel Sales reps to establish new partnerships and maintain and grow existing channel relationships.
  • Develop Processes to streamline the sales process to maximize the value of each relationship.
  • Communicate and manage the cumulative sales pipeline to help predict future expected sales and trends.
  • Contribute to product development discussions based on market feedback and insight.
  • Communicate with production to ensure lead times, product availability, and capacity are in alignment with market demands.
  • Work with Engineering, Production, and Finance teams to develop pricing structures that keep us competitive while meeting margin goals.
  • Attend industry tradeshows and events, training sessions at Ska Fab locations, and travel to partner and customer locations as necessary. This person is expected to travel an average of 1-2 weeks per month, but that will vary based on scheduling.
  • Demonstrated Passion for creating a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to read, write, listen and talk about complex technical and relational and interpersonal concepts.
  • Self-motivated and self-starting
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in beverage packaging, equipment sales, or other related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years of Sales Management experience or related management experience.
  • Able to prioritize work on multiple projects at any given time while maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with multiple partners potentially competing on projects.
  • Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
  • Ideal Candidate will have an in depth understanding of beverage packaging equipment and systems, and a strong background in B2B sales, and sales management.
