Press Metal Aluminium Holdings Berhad, the largest Aluminium smelter in Southeast Asia, has entered into a multi-year contract with Novelis Korea Limited for the supply of its low-carbon certified aluminium, GEM.

Novelis is a global leader in aluminium rolling and recycling, known for its commitment to sustainability and innovation in the aluminium industry. 

GEM, Press Metal’s low-carbon aluminium series, is produced with a carbon footprint that is about three times lower than the industry average. It offers a sustainable alternative for industries looking to reduce their environmental impact without compromising performance.”The partnership with Press Metal will help Novelis meet our ambitious carbon reduction targets and provide our customers with the most sustainable aluminium products,” said Sachin Satpute, President of Novelis Asia.
