Gruppo Fanti opens new US metal packaging facility
Italian tinplate manufacturer Gruppo Fanti is opening a new metal packaging facility in West Virginia.
The facility will be opening in 2022 and is located in Weirton, which is a city in Brooke and Hancock counties, West Virginia.
The company products a number of metal and plastic packaging products, including cylindrical cans and pails and buckets.
The new plant will provide up to 50 jobs in the area within five years.
