Greenbank scoop apprenticeship award

Greenbank

Greenbank Technology has won the Commitment to Apprenticeships Award from Burnley College and Themis Burnley.

Greenbank currently employ two apprentices, Tom Norman and Ethan Sains, who are brothers.

A post on their website said: “Well done to our hard working apprentices – Ethan Sains and Tom Norman, and also to our dedicated HR Manager – Lindsey McDermott.

“This award is testimony to Greenbank’s culture of commitment to all of our employees’ learning and development.

Ethan, who works in service, has had the opportunity to travel the world and continues to do so.

Design engineer Tom works in the engineering department and has had the opportunity to work on a range of projects not only to design machinery but to also have the opportunity to travel abroad and see the finished product.

Greenbank also donated £750 to Derian House Children’s Hospice

Greenbank also decided to donate money to local chairs Derian House Children’s Hospice instead of sending customers and suppliers Christmas gifts in December.

Derian House is a centre close to Greenbank’s head office in Blackburn which looks after very ill children and their families to their end of life care.

Greenbank has made Derian House its chosen charity to support for 2021 and will continue to support them throughout the year.
