L’Occitane choose Tubex Aluminium Tubes

L'Occitane

L’Occitane en Provence will have all of its aluminium tubes replaced with Tubex Aluminium Tubes’ Blue Tube Evo by the end of the year.

The beauty brand started using the packaging made by Tubex Aluminium Tubes, which is produced with 95% recycled aluminium.

A post on LinkedIn read: “In 2020, L’Occitane began using our Blue Tube Evo for packaging products that had previously been filled in standard aluminium tubes and has marked this transition, with a limited edition of its bestselling Shea Butter Hand Cream.

“Created by the French artist Mathilde Cabanas, the heartfelt “Bisou la planète” design of the tube is a love note to Mother Nature. It’s also the perfect match for our Blue Tube Evo’s eco-design approach, which significantly reduces emissions, minimises waste and material use, and supports circularity by using real PCR waste.

“By the end of the year, our partnership with L’Occitane en Provence will enable the beauty brand to achieve 100% of all its hand cream tubes made with 95% of recycled aluminium.”
