Budweiser launches Military Heritage Cans

Budweiser has launched a new ‘Military Heritage Can’ that is inspired the beer cans used by troops during World War Two.

The brewer, who’s parent company is Anheuser-Busch, has launched the new product in time for Veterans Day on November 11.

The company also says the beer cans will be available nationwide and that it was ‘proud to serve those who served’.

The company said: “The WWII can that inspired it all. During WWII, Budweiser made special olive drab cans for American troops serving overseas.

“Our new Military Heritage Cans were inspired by this design, and continue Budweiser’s proud tradition of supporting those who serve our country.

“For every case of Military Heritage Cans sold, we are donating $1 to Folds of Honor, a nonprofit organisation that provides educational scholarships to families of fallen and disabled service members.”
