South American trade show Latamcan 2022 will take place at the Bourbon Atibaia Convention & Spa Resort, in Sao Paulo, Brazil on 11-13 May 2022.

Commenting on the announcement, event director, Raul Martinez, commented: “We understand that it will be only eight months from Latamcan 2021 to this one. But as many can makers in Brazil and South America, in general, that couldn’t attend Latamcan in Mexico City mentioned, the last time they attended was March 2020.

“So by May next year, it will be 26 months since they attended a show and they are eager to meet suppliers in person. Also, many suppliers from Europe, Asia and North America were not able to attend Latamcan 2021 due to travel restrictions, so this offers a chance for everyone to reconnect.”

Latamcan also announced that they would be reducing the number of presentations, in favor of giving delegates and suppliers longer time to network in the trade show area.
