TUBEX Holding GmbH has acquired the Hungarian packaging manufacturer Mátrametál Kft.

The two companies have agreed not to disclose the terms of the purchase.

As TUBEX, Mátrametál is a manufacturer of aluminium packaging with over 60 years of experience. In Sirok, Hungary, Mátrametál produces aluminium aerosol cans and aluminium tubes.

TUBEX has been the packaging specialist for aluminium aerosol cans, aluminium tubes, aluminium cartridges and plastic tubes for the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, food, and technology markets for over 70 years. In future, the seven production sites of TUBEX Group will have a capacity of  700 million aerosol cans and 1,6 billion aluminium tubes. More than 1,700 people will work at these production sites
