Chicago Blackhawks and Goose Island announce collaboration

Chicago Blackhawks has teased a collaboration with Goose Island over the launch of a new canned IPA.

The NHL team posted a video on Twitter that a Goose Island Blackhawks Pale Ale will be released in October.

The clip shows Hall of Fame forward Denis Savard driving a Goose Island delivery van with a Blackhawks Pale Ale logo.

Savard then calls upon former Blackhawk Chris Chelios to hurry up loading the van.

He then throws a case full of the Pale Ale into the back and then a image pops up of how the cans will look when they are launched.

The Blackhawks are six time Stanley Cup winners, last claiming the trophy in the 2014-15 season.

The 2022/23 NHL season will get underway in October, likely to coincide with the launch of the new Goose Island IPA.

The Chicago team get their season underway against defending champions Colorado Avalanche, who are sponsored by the Ball Corporation.
