Emballator has announced the appointment of Maria Backlund as head of marketing and sales excellence.

Backlund is an experienced sales and marketing professional with a long and successful career in Parker Hannifin.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Innovation Engineering at Halmstad University and is currently group sales leader/sales manager of the Nordic Sales company of Parker Hannifin.

In the new role at Emballator, she will work closely with all Emballator companies, improve branding, marketing activities and sales performance across the group. Backlund will be a part of the new Emballator HQ in Ulricehamn and starts in January 2023.

Previously, Backlund has also held positions as product specialist, sales support leader and marketing manager within Parker Hannifin. Prior to joining Parker Hannifin in 2002, she worked for Teleflex Automotive (today CJ Automotive) as development engineer and sales engineer.
