A family of matte-finish cans, created by Ardagh Metal Packaging (AMP) for leading UK spring water company Radnor Hills, triumphed at the UK Packaging Awards 2022.

The Heartsease Farm range of four premium pressé cans were together named Metal Pack of the Year, with the award presented by celebrity host Sally Phillips at a glittering awards night on London’s Park Lane.

Not only did the 33cl sleek cans impress the UKPA judges with their fruity and flavoursome colours and a ‘duck at the gate’ design, but they also stand out from the crowd thanks to AMP’s Matte Impact finish.

This overvarnish enhances the feel of the can in the hand through a hint of texture, as well as adding a soft and friendly visual appeal. 

In four delicious flavours – Fiery Ginger Beer, Traditional Lemonade, British Raspberry Lemonade and Wild Elderflower – with no artificial sweeteners or preservatives, the Heartsease Farm sparkling pressés together form a family of vegan beverages that can be enjoyed as a premium soft drink on their own, or as mixers for cocktails and mocktails.

The infinitely recyclable can adds to the product’s appeal for health- and planet-conscious consumers who appreciate its 100% natural plant-based credentials.

Family-run Radnor Hills has been producing natural spring water beverages for over 30 years.

The Heartsease Farm cans are produced and filled entirely in the UK. AMP’s Matte Impact finish is available for aluminium and steel cans in all sizes.
