Plant-based protein brand expands availability

unMEAT, a plant-based protein brand, announces the availability of its fish-free canned tuna at Harris Teeter Supermarkets throughout the Southeastern US and plans to continue its expansion.

unMEAT’s fish-free tuna, introduced in the US earlier this year, is a tasty, healthier alternative for consumers, whether they’re meat lovers looking to try plant-based products, vegans wanting to diversify their diet or the flexitarians in between.

Tuna is the number one canned food in America, and with unMEAT Americans can enjoy the taste they love, fish- and guilt-free.

“We are very excited to have unMEAT fish-free Tuna available in Harris Teeter stores, making plant-based, shelf-stable protein more accessible to Americans across seven states,” says Gregory Branzon, Chief Operating Officer, Century Pacific Group, parent company of unMEAT.

“We hope that with a budget-friendly option easily found at their regular grocery store, more consumers will opt to incorporate more plant-based meals in their diet.”

unMEAT fish-free tuna can be found in all Harris Teeter Supermarkets, spanning North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Georgia, Florida and Washington, D.C.

It is also available via online retailers, GTFO, It’s Vegan! And Weee!, and at other select stores throughout the United States.

With additional national retailer availability expected to roll out over the next year, unMEAT fish-free tuna is an increasingly accessible option for consumers.
