BlackRock Inc has increased its stake in Crown Holdings to 10.10%.

BlackRock, a leading investment management corporation, added 5,099,161 shares of Crown to its portfolio at a trade price of $92.76 per share.

It has increased its total shares in the packaging company to 12,151,893 shares.

However, Crown represents just 0.03% of BlackRock’s total portfolio despite the significant addition of shares.

The investment company are reported to have equity of more than $3 trillion and holds shares in the likes of Apple, Amazon and Microsoft, among others.

Crown Holdings, Inc., through its subsidiaries, is a leading global supplier of rigid packaging products to consumer marketing companies, as well as transit and protective packaging products, equipment and services to a broad range of end markets.
