BAMA announces new chair

BAMA has announced that Dr Alina Darragh, global environmental programmes director at the WD40 Company, is taking over the role of chair of the board of directors from Adrian McCretton of kdc/one Swallowfield.

With an interest in sustainability, working collaboratively, and helping the industry move forward as we face various challenges and opportunities,Darragh said:

“I recognise the immense dedication and hard work put in by Adrian and the entire team, and I am committed to upholding the standards of excellence that have defined BAMA for years. I have a personal and professional interest in furthering BAMA’s efforts in advancing our collective understanding the environmental sustainability of the aerosol industry.”

“I believe in the strength of our community and the potential for positive change that we hold.”

At BAMA’s AGM there were elections to the Board of Directors. Natalie Cox, senior key account manager at Ball Aerosol Packaging, and Jo Jackson, UK sales manager at Eviosys were both elected and will start their new roles at BAMA’s next board meeting in December.
