Most Wanted Wines debuts low alcohol can

low alcohol can from Most Wanted Wines

Canned wine brand Most Wanted Wines has added a 0.5% ABV Sauvignon Blanc fizz can to its range, marking its debut in the low-/no-alcohol category.

The launch of the low alcohol offering comes amid research from Wine Intelligence reporting that nearly 40% of regular wine drinkers, particularly younger adults, are proactively curbing their wine intake. Additionally, 86% of consumers prefer non-alcoholic drinks in a single-serve format, according to consumer research firm Attest.

Sarah Watkins, brand manager at Most Wanted Wines, said: “Our consumers wanted a convenient, alcohol-free option that aligns with their lifestyle choices, and we’re proud to have met that demand head-on. It’s our belief that, while taste remains paramount, the convenience and sustainability of the canned format are key differentiators in today’s evolving wine landscape.”

Most Wanted Wines launched on the UK market in 2015. The award-winning wine brand has expanded since its very first Albariño listing to include a range of over twenty wines in a variety of formats. In 2017 they were the first brand to successfully launch canned wine in multiple retailers, with Pinot Grigio and Pink Pinot Grigio Fizz cans now the market-leading canned wine brand in the UK. The launch of their 0.5% Sauvignon Blanc fizz marks the first offering in the low alcohol category.
