Minalba Brasil launches new aluminium cans with Braille lid

Minalba Brasil, a brand from the Edson Queiroz Group, announced the arrival of a can that is 100% recyclable, and including a Braille lid.

With the motto “It’s even better in a can”, the company begins the year 2024 with the major launch of the 269 ml canned packaging, in sparkling and still versions.

“The can has been awaited by consumers as a new hydration option. Our ESG strategy has been perfectly aligned with several movements that highlight the importance of caring for the environment. An example is the initiative of the municipality of Jericoacoara, in Ceará, which sanctioned a law prohibiting the entry of plastic beverage bottles with a capacity less than or equal to 510 ml”, said Aélio Silveira, CEO of Minalba Brasil.

Just like Minalba water cans, Indaiá cans will also have information in Braille on the lid, to promote accessibility in the beverage market.

Today, there are more than 6.5 million people with visual impairment in Brazil, according to data from the 2010 IBGE Census. The purpose is to offer greater independence in the purchasing and consumption experience, adapting to the needs of this public.
