PepsiCo previews Smart Can at Cannes 

4 Smart Cans on displat at Cannes Festival Of Creativity. Each interactive can looks like a traditional beverage can but is equipped with screens and speakers.

Pepsi shared a first look at its Smart Can at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity last week, Marketing Dive reports. 

The Smart Can is a can reimagined as an interactive portal. It comes equipped with digital screens, sound tech and motion sensors. It is hoped the device will be able to aid in beverage advertising and consumer promotions in the future. 

It is described as a ‘connected device outfitted with wraparound screens, movement sensors and accelerometers that help customise user experience.’

PepsiCo plans to promote the can shaped personalisation gadget at some point in the future alongside creators from across entertainment and culture. 

PepsiCo did not share release details or timelines of the Smart Can.

Cannes Lions is a yearly celebration of the best in advertising. PepsiCo used the event to debut innovations focussed on personalisation.
