KUKU adds four new palletising robots

With the new KR FORTEC PA and the KR FORTEC ultra PA family, KUKA Robotics is adding four new palletising robots to its heavy-duty portfolio.

These fast and powerful robots can perform a wide range of palletising tasks with high efficiency. Their modular design also keeps maintenance simple and economical.

The KR FORTEC PA is a powerful palletising robot that is characterised by its high payload of up to 500 kg and long 3200 mm reach. With its slim design, it not only offers remarkable maneuverability, but also outstanding performance that ensures optimum cycle times. The robot is ideal for a wide range of palletising tasks, from stacking small beverage cans to arranging 200-litre drums. The high load capacity and low energy consumption contribute to a significant reduction in the total cost of ownership. And thanks to its modular design, identical spare parts from the KR FORTEC, KR QUANTEC and KR FORTEC ultra robot models can be used, which saves storage costs.

Double duty powerhouse: the KR FORTEC ultra PA

The KR FORTEC ultra PA is also being launched on the market by KUKA. The KR FORTEC ultra PA heavy-duty palletising robot effortlessly lifts loads of up to 800 kg, making it ideal for use in heavy industries, such as the construction sector, where it can be used for palletising heavy stones. It is also suitable for gripping an entire layer of large beverage bottles. Its double link arm ensures increased rigidity and precision at a reduced weight.

Both robots can be mounted on the configurable linear axes – the KR FORTEC PA on the KL 4000 and the KR FORTEC ultra PA on the KL 5000, allowing their working range to be extended to up to 31 metres.
