Can & Graze TV chef launches grazing board with Canned Food UK

TV chef, author, and food writer Theo Michaels is partnering with Canned Food UK (CFUK) – the consumer campaign by the Metal Packaging Manufacturers Association (MPMA) – to launch an exciting new initiative: Can and Graze.

This stylish new campaign reimagines the convenience of canned food through a Mediterranean lens, with seven brand-new recipes inspired by Greek and Cypriot flavours and designed to elevate everyday eating. From vibrant dips to flavour-packed bites, Can and Graze proves that delicious, creative cooking really can come straight from the can.

Launched last month, each recipe was shared on Theo’s and CFUK’s Instagram pages, @theocooks and @cannedfooduk, and are also available in full on the Canned Food UK website.

Key dishes include aubergine dip, gigantes plaki, and hot honey halloumi. Theo brings his signature style to the campaign, demonstrating how canned ingredients can deliver bold flavours, quick prep, and beautiful presentation, all while being accessible and sustainable.

This marks Theo’s fourth year as CFUK’s CANbassador ™, following popular previous campaigns such as Around the World and last year’s appliance-inspired recipes using air fryers and slow cookers.

Commenting on the campaign, Theo said: “My grazing board captures the essence of how canned food can be used to create delicious and inventive light bites. Not only is canned food a smart choice for quick and tasty cooking, it’s also a sustainable one, with metal packaging being 100% recyclable and canned ingredients helping reduce food waste through longer shelf life.”

Jason Galley, Director and Chief Executive of the MPMA, added: “Theo has developed an inspiring array of recipes that show just how versatile and flavourful canned food can be. The grazing board concept is a brilliant new way to showcase this to modern consumers.”
