PABC grows capacity to 1.3bn cans
Pakistan Aluminium Beverage Cans Limited announced that it has successfully completed its debottlenecking and capacity expansion project.
In a statement to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the company explained that the project aimed to resolve production bottlenecks and balance line efficiencies, with the dual goal of boosting operational performance and increasing output capacity.
Following this upgrade, the company’s annual rated production capacity has grown from 1.2 billion cans to 1.3 billion cans. The additional capacity is now fully operational and available for commercial use.
According to the notice, this development strengthens the company’s manufacturing capabilities and aligns with its long-term strategy for operational efficiency and capacity optimisation.
PABC is the sole manufacturer of aluminium cans for soft drinks in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
It supplies aluminium cans to both PepsiCo and Coca-Cola in the region.
