Budweiser marks 150th anniversary with limited edition cans
Budweiser is marking a major milestone by rolling out a special 12-pack to celebrate its 150th year.
The iconic beer brand has launched a limited-edition Heritage Can Series, now available for purchase. Each 12-pack includes one commemorative can featuring one of four collectible designs. Three of the designs draw inspiration from Budweiser cans sold in past decades — the 1950s, 1980s, and 1990s — while a fourth design looks ahead with a style created specifically for 2026. Every can features a 150th anniversary emblem reading, “Made of America – For 150 Years.”
Throughout the year, Budweiser will rotate the four designs in stores, encouraging fans to track down all versions as part of the anniversary celebration.
According to the company, the Heritage Can Series is intended to showcase Budweiser’s evolution over its century-and-a-half history while responding to longtime fans who have asked for the return of vintage packaging.
Budweiser also plans to highlight the anniversary in its Super Bowl commercial. The company said its ad will honour both Budweiser’s 150-year legacy and the nation’s upcoming 250th birthday, delivering a patriotic message centred on the beer’s deep ties to American culture.
