At MetPack 2026, NORDSON ICS is featuring hDry® Advanced Induction Dryer System. The hDry is a high-efficiency, rugged and reliable induction dryer that rapidly dries water-based end compounds for a widerange of can ends. With its smaller footprint, hDry requires less floor space than typical hot-air dryers. NORDSON’s hDry Induction Dryer uses SCR Phase Control for precise, stable induction energy – ensuring uniform, efficient drying performance. Unlike Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), which rapidly switches power on and off, SCR Phase Control smoothly delivers consistent power without additional EMI, load imbalance or current surges.

Additionally, ICS will show the ezSPC Spray Pressure Control panel. The SPC is already a proven product with quicker, simpler maintenance. Product consistency is at a higher level than ever before. With ezSPC you can quickly clean out a clogged orifice with the turn of a knob. It is operator friendly with no disassembly required. Designed for seamless integration you can retrofit the ezSPC onto an existing Nordson SPC manifold or add it to new equipment. The ezSPC maintains consistent inside spray coating weights for enhanced product quality and operating efficiency, reduced clean-up and maintenance costs.

At the 2023 MetPack, ICS introduced our easy-to-use, touchscreen controller and software that efficiently manages the Ink-Dot Identification System. The controller has become ubiquitous within the NORDSON equipment ecosystem, providing operators with a more streamlined way of using our products. The Ink Dot is designed to improve process monitoring by quickly identifying malfunctioning spray machines on the coating line by applying coloured and UV inks. Its user-friendly controller allows the operator to run a simple quality assurance program for immediate identification of manufacturing defects, enabling earlier detection and enhanced traceability while reducing the number of rejects, downtime creating labour and material savings scenarios.
