Alltub’s Green Tube won the WorldStar Global Packaging award in the Packaging Materials & Components category.

The international judging panel was composed of 33 judges from 33 packaging associations, members of WPO (World Packaging Organisation), who judged 345 packaging projects, from 35 countries, that applied for WorldStar Awards 2021.

The winners will be honoured at the prestigious WorldStar Awards Presentations to be held during May, 2021.

A company announcement read: “It’s a good start of the year for the Green Tube which proves that sustainability will be more than ever present in 2021!”

The Green Tube is 100% recyclable and made of PCR (post-consumer recycled) aluminium. Alltub’s PCR aluminium tubes are specially designed for a circular economy. 

Producing aluminium tubes from post-consumer recycled aluminium closes the loop making the tubes both recycled and recyclable with significant lower CO2 emissions.

Lightweight and resistant, the PCR aluminium tube has all the advantages of a classic aluminium tube. The use of PCR also does not detract from the tube’s positive properties and outstanding performance.
