HUN launches alcohol-free canned wine

HUN canned wine

Canned wine brand HUN is set to expand its core product range with the launch of the UK’s first alcohol-free wine in a can.

The product launched this month and is called HUN Alcohol Free (0.5% ABV, 200ml). It is a vegan sparkling white wine made from single origin South African Chenin Blanc grapes, presented in striking gold cans.

The alcohol free is the fifth canned wine in the HUN collection, which also includes low-ABV 5.5%  sparkling rosé and a new Shiraz red wine.

HUN co-founder, Mark Wollard said: “Over the past year, both my sister and sister-in-law both became pregnant and struggled to find good quality non-alcoholic wine, which ultimately inspired the launch of the HUN AF wine.

“With 8.6m of Brits actively moderating their alcohol consumption, HUN AF has been designed for the modern day millennial drinker, who wants to enjoy the morning after just as much as the night before.

“It will also be available at a number of summer festivals where festival-goers can enjoy it as the ‘wine between wine’ during a long day of drinking.

“Less alcohol content shouldn’t mean less flavour, so we worked closely with the producer to ensure the de-alcoholisation process retained 100% of the wine’s original aromas and flavour.”
