Bonduelle canned and frozen vegetable plant expansion

Bonduelle

French-owned company Bonduelle announced plans for a $5million expansion to its canned and frozen vegetable plant in Lebanon, PA.

Bonduelle packages its major own-brand frozen products and sells vegetables under its own brand.

The expansion will see the company purchase new machinery and equipment, which will include two new frozen vegetable processing and packaging lines.

It will create 35 new full-time jobs and increase output from 45million pounds to 75million pounds by 2023.

“Bonduelle is excited to work with Governor Wolf’s office to expand his business in Pennsylvania and create new jobs in the Lebanon, Pennsylvania community,” said Jeremy Williams, manager of Bonduelle.

“We know that Lebanese factories have many opportunities and look forward to continuing to see the site grow with new technologies and people.

“Bonduelle is more through plant-based foods. We are committed to building a good future, providing food for future generations, and putting our people and communities at the centre of our activities.”
