UK beer brewer Freedom Brewery has invested £1m into new canning line technology. 

With demand for the brewery’s craft lagers increasing, Freedom brewery has purchased a new canning line and autopack machine to help meet demand. 

The new machine has the capability to fill up to 250 cans a minute – that’s 1,500 per hour. 

Managing Director Matthew Wilson said “After a period of strong growth for Freedom and the increased demand for properly brewed craft lager, it feels like the right time to be investing in our production capabilities. We’re now in prime position to meet the demand and we are ready to pursue new customers and listings with both the on and off-trade.” 

The investment announcement comes weeks after the brewery rebranded their range. The brewer has been manufacturing beer for more than 25 years and aim to be sustainable, independent and natural in everything they do.
