Freedom Brewery has launched a new contract brewing service after investing more than £2million.

The biggest investment from that money was in a new canning line that can fill 250 cans per minute, five times its previous equipment.

Freedom has grown from strength-to-strength since launching its can range in 2020, it sold over 3.7million cans in 2023.

The brewery is now offering its industry expertise to other brewers to brew, bottle, can, and keg beers in multiple volumes.

“Contract brewing has been a staple of this industry for a long time and we felt this was an area in which we could provide strong value to the market,” said Matthew Willson, managing director of Freedom Brewery.

“Investment in new equipment, infrastructure, and workforce to grow your business can be costly, time consuming, and a real barrier to growth and that’s where we’re in a fortunate position to support.
