Holden’s Bottling Company installs new canning line

Holden’s Bottling Company has invested £250,000 to install a new canning line.

The Midlands-based company says the new line will have a capacity of 3,000 cans per minute.

The first phase of the installation of the canning line is now complete.

Writing on LinkedIn, the company said: “We’re so excited to be extending our range of services with the installation of a new canning line which will be operational in February!

Speaking to The Express and Star, director Mark Hammond said: “There is increasing demand from craft brewers who sell their beers in cans.

“The market place has changed and glass has become more expensive because of rising raw materials and energy costs,

“We think there is a lot if work out there for us.”
