Irish Deputy Prime Minister (‘Tánaiste’) Micheál Martin and the Irish Ambassador to Canada Eamonn McKee made the announcement alongside Bevcraft Group founders Darren Fenton, COO and Ciarán Gorman, CFO before a large congregation at the McCord Stewart Museum, Montreal.

Bevcraft Group is a global craft beverage canning specialist focused on mobile canning, static canning, digital can printing, laboratory testing and can distribution services. The Qúebec facility will be the 9th facility across the Bevcraft network and adds to operations already established in Ireland, the UK, USA, Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands.

The new management team of Sébastien Baril and Jean-François Gaudreault previously founded Solucan, which was one of the very first digital can printer operators in the world and achieved many technical milestones in the global digital can printing industry. They successfully printed tens of millions of cans over the last number of years for hundreds of clients across North America.

Groupe Bevcraft Canada will build upon these achievements and over the coming months support the next chapter of technical investment and innovation with investment of at least CAD$3m in technology upgrades at the Trois-Rivières facility.

Sébastien has been appointed as Président, Groupe Bevcraft Canada and Jean-François as Directeur Général, Groupe Bevcraft Canada. The two Québécois will be responsible for the wider Bevcraft Group’s Global Digital Print strategy and will work closely with Bevcraft’s UK digital print team as well as the wider team in Ireland.
