Nespresso enters ready-to-drink market
Nespresso, known for its signature coffee machines, is venturing into the ready-to-drink (RTD) market with the launch of its first RTD product, the Master Origins Colombia Ready to Drink Coffee.
This new beverage marks the start of a pilot program under the Nespresso brand, which serves millions of customers in homes, hotels, and offices globally.
The limited-edition drink, available exclusively in the U.S., is made from Colombian coffee beans and sweetened with honey sourced from the same region. Nespresso’s move comes in response to the growing demand for convenient, on-the-go coffee options.
“As on-the-go coffee demand continues to grow in the US, we saw the opportunity to reimagine how Nespresso can elevate coffee moments for today’s consumer,” Alfonso Gonzalez Loeschen, CEO of Nespresso North America, said.
“This RTD sits at the intersection of functionality and sustainability as a byproduct of our commitment to regenerative agriculture efforts to protect the future of coffee.”
The Master Origins Colombia Ready to Drink Coffee will be available starting October 2 in select Nespresso Boutiques, online, and via the brand’s mobile app.
