Dabur India partners with Ball for new canned drink
Dabur India Limited has partnered with Ball Corporation to introduce the Real Bites juice range in eco-friendly aluminium cans, as announced in New Delhi.
This initiative is designed to tap into the growing demand for healthy beverages in India while providing an environmentally sustainable packaging alternative without compromising on taste or quality.
India’s juice market experienced robust double-digit growth in 2023, fuelled by a shift towards healthier lifestyles amid increasing health awareness.
With forecasts projecting the market to exceed 35 million litres by 2028, Real Bites aims to stand out by offering real fruit chunks in flavours like Peach and Pineapple. These 185ml cans are designed for convenient, on-the-go consumption.
Mayank Kumar, Vice President of Marketing at Dabur India Ltd., stated that switching to aluminium cans not only addresses the demand for longer shelf life but also supports sustainability goals. Similarly, Manish Joshi, Commercial Director Asia at Ball, emphasised aluminium’s recyclability and energy efficiency.
This collaboration reflects both companies’ commitment to eco-friendly practices and aligns with India’s broader sustainability objectives.
