Korea Innovation Foundation (INNOPOLIS), operator of the 2025 Global Technology Commercialization Support Program (North America), has selected three innovative machinery companies—ARA, Korea Intelligence Machine, and Moqous—for this year’s cohort.

The program identifies high-potential companies in machinery, energy, AI/IoT, and bio-health, providing comprehensive consulting support to help them pilot their technologies with overseas partners and accelerate on-site commercialisation.

1. ARA – Beverage Can Unwrapping System & AI Smart Factory Automation

Among the selected companies, ARA stands out for its advanced automation technologies, particularly its specialised Beverage Can Unwrapping System—a next-generation solution that replaces one of the industry’s most repetitive and labor-intensive tasks.

Beverage Can Unwrapping System: Precision, Speed, and Safety

ARA’s Unwrapping System automates the removal of vinyl wraps, plastic films, and protective packaging from beverage cans with high accuracy. Traditionally performed manually, this process is prone to inefficiencies and inconsistent quality. ARA’s solution integrates robotics and vision-based AI to ensure:

• Uniform, damage-free unwrapping at high throughput
• Reduced labor requirements and ergonomic risk
• Real-time detection and handling of packaging variations
• Seamless integration into existing filling or inspection lines

By stabilising and accelerating the pre-processing stage, the system enables beverage manufacturers to boost production capacity and maintain consistent quality control.

With over 20 years of experience, its systems are already deployed across multiple U.S. plants and supported by expert field-service teams.

3. Moqous – E-POP CYCLE Smart Patrol Mobility

Moqous, a data-driven personal mobility company, is launching a Smart Patrol Mobility Pilot Project with the Las Vegas Police Department. Its Korean-developed E-POP-CYCLE aims to improve patrol efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and support data-driven policing. Certified globally and recently backed by new investment, Moqous is expanding its impact in smart, sustainable mobility.
