East Coast Canning and Swedish packaging company partner
East Coast Canning has revealed a new collaboration with Meadow, a Swedish company specialising in packaging technology.
Through this partnership, East Coast Canning will bring Meadow’s resealable aluminium can system to customers in Australia and New Zealand. The technology provides a reusable, adaptable packaging format suitable for a wide variety of consumer products.
Chris “CK” Kelly, the company’s co-founder, said the team’s experience across the canning supply chain, from printing and filling to broader packaging advice, positions them well to help accelerate uptake in both markets. He added that the collaboration extends well beyond beverages to areas such as health, beauty, and personal care.
Meadow’s CEO and co-founder, Victor Ljungberg, said the alliance represents a major step toward making aluminium packaging more widely available around the world.
He noted that the two companies aim to give brands new opportunities to use aluminium across diverse product lines, improving functionality while supporting more sustainable packaging choices.
Under the agreement, East Coast Canning will supply key packaging components such as printed cans and dispensing systems, enabling existing manufacturers and brands to adopt the technology without overhauling their operations.
This is intended to make scaling easier and broaden market adoption.
With expertise spanning supply chain management, printing, filling, and packaging strategy, East Coast Canning plans to support businesses of all sizes in transitioning to aluminium-based solutions.
