Can-One USA announces new in-house prepress division
Can-One USA, the sole aluminum beverage can manufacturer in New England, US, has officially opened an internal prepress and plate-making department to better support its expanding clientele.
The operational expansion will introduce three new specialised roles to the company’s workforce.
By transitioning these operations in-house rather than relying on outside vendors, Can-One USA gains complete oversight of artwork prep, color precision, and plate manufacturing. This integration bridges the gap between prepress design and the factory floor, significantly reducing lead times and streamlining the onboarding process for new brands.
“We are thrilled to offer our clients enhanced responsiveness and pinpoint accuracy,” said Aric Leighton, Prepress Department Lead. “By bringing these capabilities under our own roof, tasks that previously required several days can now be completed in just a few hours.”
The newly created positions include a Prepress Lead, a Prepress Administrator, and a Prepress and Artwork Designer.
This development aligns with Can-One USA’s ongoing commitment to its Nashua facility, driving regional manufacturing innovation for the craft beverage industry. The plant currently outputs over two million cans daily, managing upwards of 550 unique designs for 300 distinct customers.
“Many of our clients are small businesses that depend on our flexibility, speed, and precision,” noted Giovanni Di Mambro, CEO of Can-One USA. “This expansion reflects our dedication to investing in New Hampshire manufacturing while ensuring we consistently meet and exceed those expectations.”
