CMbE has announced the appointment of Ross (Bin) Zheng as Sales Manager – China, effective 1st October 2026. Based in Shanghai, Zheng will lead CMbE’s sales operations in China and report to Vladimir Pashchenko, Sales Manager Asia Pacific.

He joins CMbE from long-standing regional partner and agent Memag, where he has worked closely with both CMbE and its customers over several years. Through this collaboration, Zheng has developed a comprehensive understanding of the company’s business, product portfolio, customer requirements and the wider can making industry. He also brings extensive experience and strong relationships with key industry stakeholders throughout China and internationally.

Ross’s appointment follows the planned retirement of Yau Chan, who will retire from his position as Sales Manager China on 26th February 2027 after almost 12 years with CMbE. Yau has played a pivotal role in establishing and growing CMbE’s presence in China, helping to build strong relationships with leading can makers and industry partners across the region.

To ensure a smooth transition, Zheng will work closely alongside Yau over the coming months, allowing for an effective transfer of knowledge and continuity of customer support.

Zheng will be based in Shanghai and will play a key role in supporting CMbE’s customers while continuing to strengthen the company’s presence within the Chinese can making industry.
