Can’d Aid and Ball’s competition for new artwork

can'd aid

Can’d Aid and Ball Corporation are running a competition to find artwork for the nonprofit organisation’s canned drinking water.

They are looking for artists of all ages and skill levels to submit their original artwork.

The winning artist’s work will be featured on Can’d Aid’s 12 oz. aluminium cans filled with clean drinking water.

Through Can’d Aid’s Water + Response program, this water will be shipped to communities in need in response to natural and human-made disasters.

To date, over 2 million cans have been shipped nationwide.

Can’d Aid water is packaged exclusively in infinitely recyclable aluminium cans in an effort to help eliminate single-use plastic waste.

As such, it wants all artwork submitted to convey the importance of recycling, sustainability and the benefits of aluminium.

Entry is free and open to everyone. All eligible artwork must be submitted by March 15, 2021 at 11:59 MST. A panel of judges will select the top five artists.

Then, the general public will pick the grand prize winner via online voting from April 5-12th.

1st Place will be awarded $5,000 and artwork featured on Can’d Aid water cans, 2nd Place: $1,000, 3rd Place: $500.
