Anheuser-Busch to hit the hard stuff

Growth in hard seltzers

In an article appearing in Reuters, Anheuser-Busch is planning to invest $1 billion in its production facilities up until 2023, as the company looks to capitalise on the growth in hard seltzers

The US’ largest brewer and subsidiary of Belgium-based Anheuser-Busch InBev said it would inject nearly $400 million in 12 locations, and $100 support the company’s environmental endeavours.

“We need to build more seltzer capacity so we can attend the demand from consumers, which is a growing demand,” Anheuser-Busch chief executive officer Michel Doukeris told Reuters. “The company’s new Michelob Ultra organic seltzer also requires “huge” investment.
