The International Metal Decorating and Packaging Association (IMDPA) will conduct the first of three consecutive monthly webinars beginning this Wednesday, May 26. 

John Phillips, Senior Associate of Labor and Employment at Seyfarth Shaw LLC in Houston, will present the Vaccines in the Workplace: To Mandate or Not? webinar beginning at 1 p.m. EST.

As the COVID-19 vaccine rollout continues, it has brought renewed optimism and hope, along with a host of questions and compliance issues with employers. 

In this webinar, Mr. Phillips will explore legal issues relating to the vaccine in the workplace. Board certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialisation, his all-encompassing presentation will discuss employment law, CDC, OSHA, EUA, labor law and practical considerations. 

It will cover such topics as proof of vaccinations, disabilities and religion issues, risk mitigation protocols and accommodations, including paid leave laws.
