Nespresso affected by ‘labour shortage’

Nespresso

Nespresso customers are having to wait a little bit longer to get their hands on their coffee pods due to warehouse delays.

Multiple people on social media have reported the delays in being able to get their coffee, which come in aluminium capsules.

The coffee giant has put the delays down to ‘labour shortages’ and also high order volumes, which a number of companies in the UK are experiencing due to Brexit and the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

One replay from Nespresso read: “We are currently experiencing delays in our warehouse due to high order volumes and labour shortages at the moment, the delivery time frame is six working days as advertised online at the time of ordering, we are working as quickly as possible to dispatch all orders.”

Post-Brexit paperwork delays are causing issues for many companies, while there is also a shortage of warehouse workers following the end of freedom of movement.
