Le Mans organiser receives ‘Canette d’Or’ award
The organiser of 24 hours of Le Mans, the Automobile Club de I’Ouest, and the Tri-Porteurs association have received the Canette d’Or prize in the sustainable event category.
The third Trophées des Canettes d’Or recorded the record participation of more than 150 new products and initiatives in 13 categories.
They were examined by a jury made up of experts in design, marketing, professional journalists and specialists from La Boîte Boisson and its “Every Can Counts” collection program, with CITEO.

The award for Le Mans recognises the efforts made in collecting and recycling cans for more than 10 years.
The 89th edition of the famous 24 hour race took place on August 21 and 22, with 380kg of aluminium cans collected.
