Nonprofit organisation REVERB announced a new partnership with Ball Corporation and will use the Ball Aluminium Cup at its events.

REVERB is a musician-led environmental nonprofit empowering musicians and their millions of music fans to create a better future for people and the planet through taking action at concerts and beyond.

They partner with artists, festivals, and venues to reduce the environmental impact of live music tours and events while engaging the music community – music-makers and music-lovers – to create real, positive change.

Announcing the partnership on Twitter, REVERB said: “Today we’re thrilled to announce our partnership with @BallCorporation. 

“Ball has created an infinitely recyclable replacement for single-use plastic cups at concerts & beyond: The @BallAluminumCup. 

“Aluminuim is a recycling success story; 75% of the aluminium ever produced is still in use today.

“Their Aluminum Cups are designed to be recycled, meaning they can be turned into another aluminium cup or product in 60 days.

“All this on #GlobalRecyclingDay! A day to recognise the importance of #recycling as one action we can take for our planet!

“Keep an eye out for Ball cups at REVERB events this year and join us in using a product that is truly recyclable.”
