Overview:

As part of the Aftermarket Division, the Field Service Technician is an essential team member providing on-location service and support with timely, quality service, including the maintenance and installation of our products and other industry equipment.  This position plays a key role in ensuring the customers’ experience reliability and superior customer service.

Successful candidates will be problem solvers, responsive to customers’ needs and have 10 years cumulative experience performing equipment commissioning, service and maintenance in an industrial setting.

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge and experience with industrial & control wiring, drives, gas trains/burners and pneumatics.
  • Experience with industrial controls including PLCs, HMI, and variable frequency drives.
  • Working with customers on equipment acceptance as well as equipment troubleshooting and service.
  • Valid driver’s license with ability to obtain passport for international travel.
  • Travel 60-80% to customer locations, drive/fly weekdays with potential for weekend and international travel.
  • Perform installation, field repair, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting of machinery systems.
  • Ability to make independent decisions with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with co-workers and customers within a cooperative team environment.

  • Guaranteed 40 hours pay per week, plus overtime paid for hours worked over 40.
