Ball Corporation has partnered with superstar India cricketer Virat Kohli and O’cean Energy Drink for a sustainability campaign.

It was announced on social media that a sustainable edition of the canned beverage had been released.

For every can consumers buy, Ball will collect one to recycle.

Ball posted on Twitter: “We love when a true giant in sports embraces #sustainability, @imVkohli, international Indian cricketer & one of the greatest batsmen of all time, spotlights 

@OceanBeverages energy drink. For every can you buy, we will collect one to recycle. #infinitelyrecyclable #aluminum.”

This was in response to a video Kohli had also posted on the social media platform.

He said: “Introducing the O’cean Energy Drink Sustainable Edition in partnership with 

@BallCorpHQ. 

“The cans are made from at least 70% aluminium and can be recycled forever. So for every can you drink of this sustainable edition, Ball Beverage collects & recycles one @OceanBeverages.”
