With sadness, we report the recent passing of Alan Hickman.

Alan’s life was dedicated to the can making industry and in a long and illustrious career he has worked with, among others, Metal Box, Continental Can, PT Ancol Terang and Intercan Group.

He then went on to form his own company NDH Ltd and worked across the world, in particular the Middle East.

Having worked internationally, he forged friendships and alliances wherever he went. He will be sadly missed by a large part of the industry in dozens of countries.

Alan was able to spend more time in the past few years with his family, which was always paramount in his mind.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Lynn, his son Nicholas and his three year old grandson Finlay.
