Metal Packaging Europe (MPE) has announced the arrival of new CEO, Krassimira Kazashka. With over two decades of experience and in-depth knowledge of EU institutions, policies, and business associations, Krassimira will be adding value to the industry and MPE. Before joining MPE, Krassimira worked for multinational companies, European associations, and the European Commission, developing an extensive understanding of sustainability, packaging and packaging waste, the circular economy, chemicals, and food contact. Krassimira holds an MSc in Chemical Engineering, a European MSc in Environmental Protection, and an MBA from Vlerick Business School in Belgium.

According to MPE President Paulo Sousa: “We are thrilled to welcome Krassimira. Her leadership and expertise will prove a great asset in our ongoing efforts to promote the rigid metal packaging industry as a leading force in the EU Circular Economy and as the preferred sustainable packaging choice for consumers and industry.“
