Perfektüp celebrates 70th anniversary
Global packaging leader Perfektüp is marking its 70th anniversary, celebrating a legacy that began on 25 July 1955, in Istanbul with a bold mission: to meet Türkiye’s growing demand for aluminium slugs and tubes.
Founded by a group of local and international investors, the company has grown into a major global supplier of aluminium and laminate packaging solutions.
Over the decades, Perfektüp has expanded its operations across Europe, launching exports in 1969 and diversifying its product range to include aerosol cans and laminate tubes. Today, it serves key industries such as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food, homecare, stationery, and chemicals, exporting to nearly 50 countries.
In 1992, the company opened a facility in Bulgaria to strengthen its European presence. A major milestone came in 2022 with the acquisition of Italy’s Tubettificio Favia, forming Tubettificio Perfektüp—a merger that combined Italian craftsmanship with Turkish manufacturing excellence.
In 2024, Perfektüp inaugurated the first phase of its Kırklareli Production Campus in Türkiye, a 75,000 m² facility focused on energy efficiency and sustainable production. The site includes two new aerosol lines and is designed to generate its own energy.
Perfektüp’s sustainability efforts extend beyond manufacturing. As a member of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, it champions circular economy principles, implements water-saving technologies, and supports reforestation through its Perfektüp Memorial Forest, home to over 10,000 trees.
With seven production facilities, 30 high-capacity lines, and a team of over 680 experts, Perfektüp produces hundreds of millions of tubes and cans annually. Its commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and environmental responsibility continues to drive its mission to deliver packaging solutions that are both high-performing and future-ready.
“As we celebrate 70 years, we’re not just looking back—we’re building forward,” the company said in a statement. “We remain committed to innovation, sustainability, and excellence, helping our customers succeed with packaging that truly ‘perfekts’ their products.”
