London Packaging Week reveals full 2026 conference line-up as key industry debates take centre stage

More than 90 speakers representing global brands, regulatory bodies, retailers, creative agencies and sustainability pioneers are set to explore the consumer, commercial and legislative drivers shaping the future of packaging.

London Packaging Week has released its complete 2026 conference programme, bringing together over 90 experts from across the global packaging supply chain for two days of industry debate, technical insight and practical learning.

Returning to ExCeL London on 16–17 September, the event is expected to attract over 5,700 visitors and 220 exhibitors, alongside major brands across luxury, beauty, premium drinks and FMCG – underscoring its status as the UK’s premier event for luxury and high-end packaging innovation.

This year’s agenda highlights packaging’s transition from a specialized technical function to a core strategic business driver. Moving beyond traditional production and graphic design, discussions will focus heavily on shifting consumer habits, regulatory compliance, commercial growth and overall brand strategy.

“Packaging has become one of the few business disciplines where marketers, designers, engineers, sustainability specialists, procurement teams and policymakers are all trying to solve the same challenges,” said Casey McHugh, Senior Conference & Community Manager at Easyfairs.

“That’s exactly what we’ve built this year’s programme around. Visitors won’t simply hear what’s changing. They’ll hear from the people responding to those changes every day, sharing practical experience, fresh thinking and ideas they can take straight back into their own organisations.”

Key session highlights across the two-day event include:

  • Consumer Trends: Speakers including Greg Clayton (Ipsos), Chris Sanderson (The Future Laboratory), Jono Wylie (eatbigfish), Nicki Morley (Kantar) and Vy Cutting (Feisty) will examine market shifts, including ‘Packaging for the great value reset’ and functional health trends.
  • Luxury & Premium Brands: Piera Toniolo (Dolce & Gabbana Beauty) will discuss narrative-driven packaging, while representatives from Newby Teas, Compass Box Whisky and L’Occitane Group address how to balance luxury appeal with sustainable practices.
  • Regulatory Landscape: Experts from PackUK, Exchange for Change, the British Soft Drinks Association, the British Beauty Council, OPRL and Ecosurety will detail the operational realities of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), Deposit Return Schemes (DRS), and mandatory labelling.
  • Commercial Design: Leaders from CENTER, URGE Collective, Doodle Club, Diageo and Aura Global will showcase how strategic design addresses sustainability challenges and drives brand value, including a look at building premium non-alcoholic beer brand BERO.
  • Material Innovation & Case Studies: Francisco Nogueira (Coca-Cola) will present the UK debut of the Schweppes Skittle Evolution Bottle alongside Sam Lucking (Unhidden), while MarinaTex explores marine-derived coatings and HairGym shares its growth trajectory as a challenger beauty brand.

In addition to the conference sessions, attendees will have access to over 220 exhibitors, the Pentawards Festival, the Innovation Awards showcase, interactive demonstrations and dedicated networking opportunities.
